They’re not going to infest your home overnight, but they won’t leave quickly easier. They generally do not enter homes. Instead, they prefer being close to sewer systems. They also like living in steam tunnels. When you find American cockroaches around your home, you know you have a broken sewer pipe or something similar.

Pennsylvania Wood Cockroaches
Since you live in our service area, there is a risk that you’re going to encounter Pennsylvania wood cockroaches. Despite being from the same species, you’ll find that females and males look remarkably different. Males are larger since they generally reach an inch in length. As for females, they grow up to three-quarters of an inch. Although they may be found in your city, they’re typically not pests. They may enter your home, but they won’t stay long or reproduce in your home. Pennsylvania wood cockroaches approach homes with wood shingles, wood siding, and clogged rain gutters.
Spotted Mediterranean Cockroaches
Despite being small, spotted Mediterranean cockroaches are still dangerous. When they enter your home, you’ll need to assemble a plan to eliminate them as quickly as possible. They rarely grow larger than a third of an inch. They came from Europe, but have quickly become a serious problem in the United States. The good news is that they rarely live in residential dwellings. Instead, they’ll invade your yard.
Oriental Cockroaches
Oriental cockroaches are bigger than others since they reach an inch and a quarter. They’re either black or dark brown. Adult females do not develop wings. As for males, they develop wings that cover three-quarters of their bodies. They share many characteristics with American cockroaches since of the fact that both like infesting sewers. However, oriental cockroaches can handle cold weather exceptionally well. As a result, you may find them around your trashcans.
Smokeybrown Cockroaches
These cockroaches can grow over an inch in length, and they are reddish-brown. These cockroaches can be found in several states, but they’re not common in our service area. Surinam Cockroaches

Brown-Banded Cockroaches
Adult brown-banded cockroaches can grow up to half an inch. In terms of color, they’re either light brown or tan. They’re often mistaken for German cockroaches because both species look similar. Although brown-banded cockroaches are not common today, they can still infest dwellings from time to time.
